The Bikeaway will be returning in 2026! Join our mailing list to be informed as soon as entries are open. This will follow the same format as our previous Blossom and Asparagus Bikeaway events, but slightly later in the year so hopefully the weather will be (even) nicer! Since the blossom and asparagus will be over and August is plum season in the Vale of Evesham, this year the event is called the Plum Bikeaway!
We are excited to announce that Bikeaway Ventures are again working in partnership with Cycle Evesham Vale to bring you another brilliant Bikeaway event. This event will be one of many celebrating the plum season in the Vale of Evesham.
Date: 23rd August 2026
Time: 9:00
Location: Inkberrow Village Hall, Sands Rd, Inkberrow, Worcester WR7 4HJ
Route options: Choose on the day from 16 miles, 31 miles or 50 miles
All routes will be fully signposted, and there is a choice of routes to suit all abilities. We welcome under 16’s (with an adult) and those using ebikes and adaptive bikes/trikes/handcycles. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and all under 18’s must have signed parental consent.
Catering for the event will be provided by Cycle Evesham Vale. Finishers will receive a bespoke medal.
All proceeds go to charity (St John Ambulance, Vale of Evesham Community First Responders and Evesham Adventure Playground) and to supporting cycling in the Vale of Evesham. Sign up online and save £5 per person on the on-the-day entry fee.

Event HQ
The start and finish will be at a new venue at Inkberrow Village Hall Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day. There is a limited amount of free parking so please consider riding to the start, or sharing lifts if possible. Evesham Adventure Playground will have a mechanic available for any last minute problems with your bike.
