Training

There’s no time like the present whether you are new to cycling or an adult who hasn’t been on a bike for quite some time.

Learn to cycle as an adult

Get back on your bike with adult training courses.

Would you love to get back on your bike, but is something holding you back?

Would you like to enjoy improved health, feel better and save money?

Do you need a bit of help to gain confidence, and find some quiet cycling routes in and around Evesham?

Our instructors can provide training in how to ride safely on the road, setting you up to enjoy the sense of freedom that cycling brings.

We can provide training to adults of all ages and abilities. Whether you are a novice cyclist needing to know the basics, or a returning cyclist needing a little confidence to get back on the road, we offer cycle training to individuals, families and groups.

We aim to bring back the joy of cycling and help you to feel safe when riding around the town and our beautiful Vale.

We can provide individual and group training at very reasonable rates.

We also ran three very successful ‘Sofa to Cycling 20k’ courses, aimed specifically at getting more women back on bikes. We hope to run another series of these – if you are interested in taking part, keep a look out for details on our Facebook page here.

Bikeability

Bikeability has helped over 1,800,000 people learn how to cycle on today’s roads and gain practical skills.

Bikeability is today’s cycle training programme. It’s like cycling proficiency, but better! It’s about gaining practical skills and understanding how to cycle on today’s roads. Bikeability gives everyone the skills and confidence for all kinds of cycling.

There are three Bikeability levels, each designed to improve cycling skills, no matter what is known already. Levels 1, 2 and 3 take trainees from the basics of balance and control, all the way to planning and making an independent journey on busier roads.

Bikeability is government-recognised, practical and professional training, and we know that cyclists are more skilled and more confident once they’ve taken part.
